About the Artist

Tina Powers

Tina Reeves Powers graduated from Louisiana Tech University in art education, with a strong focus in fine art. The day after graduation, she taught only one day of school as a substitute teacher.  Finding out very quickly that teaching wasn’t for her, she  then ran off to Branson, Missouri to explore her life as a singer/dancer/entertainer.

Tina found her way back to art through motherhood,  and living in the beautiful artist community of Fairhope, Alabama. She embraced her impressionistic style of painting the world around her and through her travels to amazing places. 

Tina currently resides in Point Clear, Alabama with her husband, Paul, daughters Summerlyn and Ashlyn and son Ladd.
